I am hooked on this show. No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain.
The filmography is just great – raw, uncut, and earthy, just like the man. You almost feel like you’re there, taking in the savory aroma and walking through the bustling markets.
He’s a chef, an author, and a traveler. I like him because he is nothing like a typical chef. He is not afraid to speak his mind. He is vulgur at times, almost always blunt. But he gets down to the grit of things, to reality. He appreciates local street food, and he eats the culture as much as the grub. Fine dining is not accomplished by Michelin chefs in $$$ restaurants downtown.
Fine dining starts in the streets.
